Mafhum-e-Hadith:
Hazrat umar ko dekhkar Shaitan raasta badal deta tha
Saad
Radi-Allahu-Anhu se rivayat hai ki
hazrat Umar Radi-Allahu-Anhu ne
Rasoollallah Sallallhu-Alaihi-Wasallam se andar aaney ki ejazat maangi aur aapkey
pass us waqt Quraish ki aurtein baithi thi aap Sallallahu-Alaihi-Wasallam se baatein kar rahi thi aur bahut bakwas kar
rahi thi aur unki aawazin buland thi aur jaisey hi hazrat umar ne aawaz di wo
uth kar bhag gayee jhupney ke liye , Rasoollallah
Sallallhu-Alaihi-Wasallam ne hazrat umar
ko ejazat de di (andar aaney ki) aur Aap Sallallahu-Alaihi-Wasallam hans rahey they Hazrat umar Radi-Allahu-Anhu ne kaha ki Ya Rasoollallah
Sallallhu-Alaihi-Wasallam Allah aapko hansta hua rakhey , Aap Sallallahu-Alaihi-Wasallam ne farmaya
mujhe tajjub hua un aurton par jo mere pass baithi thi aur tumhari aawaz
suntey hi pardey mein bhag gayee , hazrat umar ne farmaya Ya Rasoollallah
Sallallhu-Alaihi-Wasallam aapsey unko
ziyada darna chahiye tha , phir un aurton se hazrat umar ne kaha ki eh apni
jaan ki dushmano tum mujhse darti ho Allah ke Rasool Sallallahu-Alaihi-Wasallam se nahi darti , un aurton ne kaha tum sakht
aur gussey waley ho banisbat Rasoollallah Sallallhu-Alaihi-Wasallam ke. Rasoollallah Sallallhu-Alaihi-Wasallam ne farmaya qasam hai uski jiskey qabzey mein
meri jaan hai (Eh umar) shaitan jab tumko kisi raah mein chalta hua milta hai
to us raah ko jismein tum chaltey ho usey chorh deta hai aur dusri raah
mein chala jata hai.

English Translation:
Sa'd b. Waqqas reported that Umar sought permission from
Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) to visit him when some women of the
Quraish were busy in talking with him and raising their voices above his Voiee.
When'Umar sought permission they stood up and went hurriedly behind the
curtain. Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) gave him permission
smilingly. Thereupon Umar Radi-Allahu-Anhu said: Allah's Messenger Sallallahu-Alaihi-Wasallam may
Allah keep you happy all your life. Then Allah's Messenger peace be upon him said: I wonder at these
women who were with me and no sooner did they hear your voice, they immediately
went behind the curtain. Thereupon 'Umar said: Allah's Messenger, you have more
right that they should fear you. Then Umar (addressing the women) said: O ye
enemies of yourselves, do you fear me and fear not the Messenger of Allah peace
be upon him ? They said: Yes, you are harsh and strict as compared to the
Messenger of Allah peace be upon him . Thereupon, Allah's Messenger
Sallallahu-Alaihi-Wasallam said: By Him in Whose Hand is my life, if
satan would encounter you in the way he would certainly take a different way
from that of yours.
