Hazrat Jarer Radi Allahu anhu se rivayat hai ki Rasool-Allah Sallallhu-Alaihi-Wasallam ne farmaya jisney achcha tareeqa jari karke khud bhi us par amal kiya to usko iska Ajar milega aur dusre Amal karne walon ke Ajar mein kuch kami kiya bagair unkey barabar bhi Ajar milega aur jisne bura tareeqa jari kiya aur us par Amal kiya to usko iska gunaah hoga aur dusrey amal karney walo ka gunah bhi hoga aur unkey gunaho mein bhi kami nahi hogiSunan Ibn Majah, Volume 1, #203-Sahih

Hadith: Whoever introduces a good practice that is followed, he will receive its reward
Narrated Jarir may ALLAH be pleased with him that his father said: “The Messenger of Allah Peace be upon him said: ‘Whoever introduces a good practice that is followed, he will receive its reward and a reward equivalent to that of those who follow it, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest. And whoever introduces a bad practice that is followed, he will receive its sin and a burden of sin equivalent to that of those who follow it, without that detracting from their burden in the slightest.’”
