Hadith: Mooncho ko achchi tarah qatarwao aur dadhiyo ko badhao

  

Nafi Radhi allahu anhu  se rivayat hain ki Abdulah bin umar Radhi allahu anhu ne kaha ki Rasool-Allah Sal-Allahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya  tum mushrikeen ke khilaf karo , dadhi ko chorh do aur moonche qatarwao.
Abdullah bin umar Radhi allahu anhuma jab Hajj ya umrah karte to apni dadhi ( haath se) pakadte aur ( muththi) se jo baal zyada hote unhe qatarwa dete

Abu Rimthah Radhi allahu anhu ne farmaya ki main aur mere walid Rasool-Allah Sal-Allahu alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir huye to dekha ki Aap Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam ne apni dadhi mein mehnadi laga rakhi thi

Hadith: Cut the moustaches short and leave the beard (as it is).

Narrated Nafi Radhi allahu anhu :

Ibn Umar Radhi allahu anhu said, The Prophet Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam said, 'Do the opposite of what the pagans do. Keep the beards and cut the moustaches short.' Whenever Ibn `Umar performed the Hajj or `Umra, he used to hold his beard with his hand and cut whatever moustaches. Ibn `Umar used to cut his moustache so short that the whiteness of his skin (above the upper lip) was visible, and he used to cut (the hair) between his moustaches and his beard.

Narrated Ibn Umar Radhi allahu anhu

Allah's Messenger Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "Cut the moustaches short and leave the beard (as it is).

Abu Rimthah Radhi allahu anhu said "My father and I came to the Prophet Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam  and he had dyed his beard with Henna.
